Class Terms
Dance terms run the same as school terms, with no classes held during school holidays or on public holidays. The last class of each term is ‘watching day’ where parents are invited to stay and watch their child’s class.
Dance Attire
The school does not have a compulsory uniform, however it is expected that all students dress in appropriate dance attire with their hair tied back. It is preferred that students wear a “Stepz” t-shirt or tank top and black dance shorts or leggings.
All Jazz and Tap students require Jazz shoes and Tap shoes (camel colour). Lyrical students also require half-soles. Some second hand shoes are available through the school.
Dance Fees 2026
40 or 45 minute class: $14/week
45 minute Acro class: $15/week
1 hour of classes: $16/week
1.25 hours of classes: $21.50/week
1.5 hours of classes: $23.50/week
2 hours of classes: $30.50/week
1 hour of classes: $16/week
1.5 hours of classes: $22.50/week
2 hours of classes: $29/week
2.5 hours of classes: $35/week
Prices above are inclusive of GST.
All classes are payable by the term regardless of any classes missed.
Costume deposits of $15 per dance style are due each term.
5% discount applies for two students from the same family.
New students are welcome to come and try their first class with no obligation.
